The simple truth
If you want to achieve your entrepreneurial goals, you must be willing to do hard things.
Hard things are things that you've never done before. The things that you don't know how to do yet. Things you hate to do and even the things that scare you.
By accepting the challenge of doing hard things, you're setting yourself up for success.
If it's always easy, you are doing it wrong.
It's easy to fall into the trap of only doing easy things.
We make cool things every day like our art, contents, products, and services, but we avoid hard things like:
Book Keeping
Marketing
Selling
And seeking constructive criticism and feedback.
Because they challenge us.
They make us feel:
Incompetent
Embarrassed
Overwhelmed
Doing hard things is cool too.
It might feel like a nightmare when we are doing hard things.
But cool things are not only the art, contents, products, and services we make, but they are also the hard things we need to do because they are key to making our creative ideas, projects, and dreams real.
That's why we only have two choices when it comes to doing hard things:
One: Find someone else to do them for us.
Two: Or step up to the challenge and overcome our fears, doubts, and ignorance.
Because if we don't do the hard things, we will fail.
And that's the simple truth every aspiring creative entrepreneur should know.
